lovetester is a rock and roll band from matawan NJ, home of the 1912 shark attack and discount mini mart. Stemming from the unconscious mind of rick bartow, matt pugliese, wes paich, and boxy breedlove, lovetester strives to walk the thin shaky line between improvisation and composed music. We are hunkered down in Matawan NJ working on a live show featuring the music from slowmentum. Everyone has some kind of ailment and there are plenty of reasons not to put in the time and work but we still do it and everyday we get a little bit better (or sicker) literally.
